Scenes from February
February was a full month with lots of celebrations at school, Valentine's Day, and some fun family outings. Here's a little peek into the fun...
Per his request, Maxwell started swim lessons this month.
We do his lessons during the day when his sisters are at school and it is quite nice only having to get one child ready and showered afterwards.
Naomi got strep throat at the beginning of the month so she and I had some extra snuggles.
The first half of the month was a lot about preparing for Valentine's Day! Naomi had to make homemade Valentines for her classmates, which was super fun but very time consuming! : )
Maxwell continues to be my little sidekick who I love spending time when the girls are at school.
Both girls are doing so well in school and both have made some great friends.
Valentine's Day was the same day as the 100th day of school. Naomi decorated a shirt with 100 heart stickers
and the girls had so much fun going through the Valentine's from their classmates.
There was a lot of outside time
and due to the warmer temps, there was a lot of very messy snow gear (especially during play dates).
This month we had a lot of fun family time watching the Olympics
and exploring a really awesome children's bookstore called, Wild Rumpus. The kids had so much fun
reading through different books and playing with the animals that were roaming around.
That black blog next to my purse is the bookstore's resident chicken
and here is Mia with one of the cats.
We also got a Children's Museum membership this month and went 2 times in one week. We had to bring daddy back after the four of us had so much fun.
The other day it was dress as your favorite book character at school. Mia is a puppy from one of her favorite chapter book series, Puppy Place and Naomi is Piggie from the Elephant and Piggie books.
I leave you with Maxwell who only wears pajamas or swim suits when at home
and is usually up for any adventure, especially if it involves going to the library or Target. ; )
