December was a big month! Levi turned 6 months and baby M turned 1! (She really doesn't seem like a baby anymore.) Here's the month in pictures...

Christmas was definitely different this year but Joe and I did our best to be sure it was still really special for the kids.

We decided to make our Christmas feast on Christmas Eve so we didn't spend Christmas day in the kitchen. We enjoyed a delicious candle lit dinner followed by a virtual Christmas service.

Hot chocolate and battery operated candles made the online service extra cozy.

The night ended with story-time with daddy and our elf, Jack. It's always a little emotional to say goodbye to our elf on Christmas Eve.

We tried to simplify the amount of gifts each kid got this year but when you have 5 kids, it adds up to a lot of presents!

I wish baby M could be posted on the blog but we got plenty of photos with her too. 

We really enjoyed taking our time opening gifts and letting the kids play with things as they opened them.
