AZ

On Friday, we went to Arizona for Joe's grandma's funeral.  Gram (as she was known by her grandkids) was an amazing woman.  It was so good to spend time with Joe's family and hear stories about her life and share memories over the weekend.  Thanks to technology, Mia was able to meet her Great Gram on Skype on a few different occasions. Her funeral was on Monday.  It was a beautiful service and we were so happy to have the opportunity to attend.

When we were in AZ, we were able to go visit my Aunt Jackie and Cousins, Aliya and Amani.

When we were in AZ, we stayed with Joe's Aunt Renee and Uncle Gary.  Mia loved all of the attention and especially loved the two little doggies.  She never got tired chasing them around the house.

We totally lucked out on the airplane and had an open seat next to us.  Mia did so awesome sitting in her own seat!
