Adventures in Seattle: Ferry to Bainbridge Island
On the 4th of July, we decided to go to a parade on Bainbridge Island, which is a 35 min ferry ride from Seattle. We drove our van onto the ferry and were able to get out and enjoy the view from the top deck.
While we were waiting to board the ferry, Max took a try at the wheel while the girls did a song and dance number to keep people entertained.
The girls were SO excited to be on the ferry; it was quite adorable.
Our crew.
The view of Seattle from the water is incredible.
While enjoying this view, Joe and I were talking about how much fun living in Seattle has been. Even though we don't know how long we'll live here, we are so glad that we are getting to enjoy this amazing city right now.
Once we got to Bainbridge Island, we found a spot to sit and watch the parade.
These two are so sweet together. The stood on the street for the whole parade and enjoyed every minute.
Maxwell and I hung out in the shade.
The girls were so excited that we got to ride the ferry again to get home. This was such a fun day. The girls were such good listeners and didn't have any meltdowns. It's so fun as the girls get older and can handle bigger adventures.
We ended the day at our favorite lookout point to watch the fireworks from a distance.
