MN 2016 Part: 1
We had a wonderful time in MN at the beginning of June. We scheduled our trip around Patrick (Joe's brother) and Emily's wedding and my brother, Cody's grad party. Since Joe couldn't take too much time off, the kids and I flew out several days before Joe.
The flight went really well. This was my view as we landed. Mia was so independent that she pretty much took care of herself the whole flight.
The kids love playing at grandma and grandpa's house!
We had so much fun spending time with Grandma Esteb. She always has the best food and activities for the kids.
We even drove to the country to spend time with my sister's family. Their yard looks a little different than ours in Seattle. : )
One of our favorite things to do in MN is go to Mall of America and go on rides at Nickelodeon Universe. The kids and I did this adventure on our own and had the best time.
This might be one of my all time favorite pictures! Max's first roller coaster ride!
We went to Noodles and Company for lunch, which is one of our old favorites from CO that we don't have by us in Seattle.
We also had to take a peek at The American Doll store. Mia was so excited to recognize everything from the catalog! I was proud of myself for staying strong and managing to leave without buying anything.
Once we got back from the mall, we went to Cody's graduation ceremony.
It was so fun that we got to be a part of such a special day.
Also, while we were in MN, we had a small, joint bday party for Naomi and Norwood. Great Grandma Mooney made the most perfect cake for Naomi.
This trip was jam packed full of fun. Stay tuned for the second half of the trip in separate post...
