We had a birthday party for Mia a couple of weeks before her actual birthday. We planned the party in a week since I saw 70s in the forecast and knew we needed to take advantage of the upcoming nice weather if we wanted to have a COVID safe, outdoor party. Thankfully almost all of her neighborhood friends were able to make it!

I'm so thankful for all of these sweet girls in the neighborhood, having friends to play with outside has made this season so much easier!

For the party, we played Minute to Win It games,

whacked a piñata,

ate lots of candy,

and the girls each decorated a few cupcakes!

I was pretty impressed with their creations! The cupcakes looked like they came straight from a gourmet cupcake shop.

We ended the party with presents on the trampoline and then the girls continued to play outside and enjoy the beautiful weather.

I love this sweet and spunky girl so much and am so proud to be her mom.

Just when I don't think this little guy can get any cuter, he does! Levi is seriously SO happy and smiley (almost) all of the time. He loves his family and being talked to and will flash a smile anytime someone talks to him. Enjoy these pictures of Levi from the last month...

 

August and September were full of lots of outdoor fun...

The kids got to go paddle boarding for the first time.

Levi continued to be adorable.

We found a new park to play at while baby M was visiting with her mom.

We went on walks

and played with friends in the sandbox.

The babies and I spent lots of time playing on the floor

and Levi got lots of cuddles from stuffed monkeys!

Baby M went to the splash pad for the first time and had the time of her life

and the big kids got ice cream with dad!

We got a new trampoline 

and I enjoy it just as much as the kids. : )

I kind of wish every August and September would be like it was this year... the neighborhood kids all home since people aren't signing up for as many activities and playing outside all day long!
