Mediterranean Cruise: Barcelona

Last weekend, we got back from an incredible trip to Europe. All 5 of us embarked on our biggest adventure yet (actually, it's probably a close 2nd to moving from Colorado to Washington with a 4, 2, and 2.5 week old)! Check out that adventure here!

Anyway, we went on a 7 day Mediterranean Cruise. The cruise left from Barcelona and had four stops in Italy and one in France. The kids did absolutely amazing on the flight, Naomi and Maxwell slept all the way there, which was so awesome since it was an overnight flight.

We stayed one night in Barcelona, which was just perfect to get a glimpse of the city.

Maxwell's body was so confused and tired, which is a theme you'll notice throughout the pictures.

Getting a quick bite to eat in Barcelona before heading to bed.

The next morning we did some sightseeing before heading to the cruise ship.

It was so fun walking the streets of Barcelona with my crew.

Once we got on the ship, we got food and went straight to the waterpark and pool (unfortunately, we didn't have our cameras to get pictures). We had a family suite for our room, which slept 5 and worked out just perfect for us! Maxwell loved that he had a TV by his bed!

Our first full day on the ship was at sea, which worked out really well since we were all still fighting jet lag. The kids got to be a part of a Dr. Seuss parade and story time.

It was super cute and so fun that the girls got picked to be a part of the show.

Maxwell fell asleep on my lap. : )

After the Dr. Seuss fun, ice cream was in order.

That evening was our first formal night for dinner. It was fun getting all dressed up.

After dinner, we dropped the kids off at the kids club so Joe and I could go to a show alone.

After picking up the kids, we had a some late night pizza

and snapped a few cute pictures poolside.

Every night on our cruise ended with us coming back to the room to a new towel friend, which was always a highlight. We had such a great day getting acclimated and exploring the boat. Stay tuned for more of our adventures...
