Adventures in Seattle

Since we've been in Seattle, most of our spare time has been spent looking for houses.  To keep us (but mostly the kids) from going completely crazy, we've tried to get out and do some fun stuff as a family.  A few weeks ago, we walked to Pike Place Market.  It was a beautiful day and so much fun seeing the first Starbucks, the fresh fish, and all the shops.

Lake Union is just a block away from our apartment.  The girls enjoy going to the little beach by the lake and watching the ducks and boats.  They actually call it, "the duck pond".  The above picture shows the Space Needle in the background.

It's crazy that this lake is minutes from the heart of downtown and an easy walk from our apartment.

Before Christmas, we ventured to the Woodland Park Zoo to see the lights.

The girls and I got a membership to the Children's Museum, which is only a couple of miles from our apartment.  It's been a life saver!

Maxwell is usually taking in the sights from the baby carrier, which he almost always falls asleep in.
