Colorado Vacation 2010

There were 12 people our house last week! The 15 passenger van made its way to Colorado for a big family vacation. The family included: Grandpa, Grandma, Mom, Nick, Karla, Cody, Colton, Uncle Mike, Elizabeth (plus baby Celine) and Diana. We went on lots of adventures. There are a lot of photos because I had a hard time choosing favorites. ( Click on the photos to view them larger.)

As we were driving through the mountains, we came across this little hot dog restaurant. It was super cute and the scenery was beautiful.

America's Highest Suspension Bridge

World's Highest Skycoaster. Michael and Joe braved this one. As they were getting strapped in, I yelled, " double check everything, they both have babies on the way!"

Wow! Check out those cables.

Baby Jones is a...

GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!2010-06-22 09.23.30.jpg
The picture isn't the best quality but if you really focus, you can see her. It's a vertical picture with her head at the top. You can see the outline of her left eye and her little hand is resting on the left side of her face. You can also see her little chin and very round belly.

During the ultrasound she was yawning and stretching her arms above her head...too cute! The ultrasound tech does a very detailed fetal exam and everything looks perfect. Joe and I are still trying to decide the perfect name for her. We might even keep it private until she is born...we'll see. : )

Happy Birthday to ME!

Joe planned the best birthday ever! When I woke up in the morning, I found the above itinerary. Joe knows me well enough to know that I like to know "the plan" for the day and I totally appreciated knowing what to expect throughout the fun. Below is me with my free birthday dessert after lunch.
Next, we went and got massages which felt amazing!! Then, off to the movies.

Last stop, Famous Dave's! Yummy! I was so excited for dinner since I haven't been to Famous Dave's since we've lived in CO. It's not exactly Joe's first pick for dinner which meant that much more. Look at how huge those portions are! I ate maybe half of my food and had the other half for dinner tonight. : )

Me with my free, extra large birthday ice cream sundae! Joe did help me eat it or I may have sent the baby into a sugar coma!

Goodbye buggy! I got a new vehicle a couple of weeks ago. In this picture, it doesn't look much bigger than my bug, but it is! I wanted something bigger and easier to get the baby in and out so we opted for a Nissan Rouge. It's the perfect transition to a bigger vehicle and it has the little luxuries such as air conditioning, power windows and cruise control that I've been living without plus many other cool things. : )
