Maxwell Theodore

A couple of weeks ago, I noticed that every morning Maxwell would come downstairs with a stuffed animal that matched the pajamas he was wearing. I thought it was the cutest thing so I asked Joe to get a picture of all of his pajama/stuffed animal combos over the course of the past week or so and here is the result. Isn't he just the cutest (messy bedhead and all)?!?

1 Month

Levi Matthew
Weight: 11lbs 8oz (84%)
Height: 23 inches (97 %)
Head circumference: 15.25 inches (92%)

Levi is 1 month! He is growing so fast and is still topping the charts in height and weight. He is wearing 0-3 month clothing and size 1 diapers.

Levi is such a smiley little guy! He loves being talked to and will usually smile back when he we smile at him. He is also starting to coo.  He even smiled and cooed at the doctor at his 1 month well check and she was very impressed with how social he was.

Levi loves going on walks in the stroller,

enjoys short periods of tummy time

and is slowly working on his neck strength.

I've decided that a mohawk is his signature look and he occasionally enjoys a paci. We've loved every minute of our first month with this sweet boy, he is such a gift!

Scenes from June

The first few pictures are actually from my birthday on  the last day of May. I was very pregnant but little did I know, it would still be 11 days until Levi arrived!

We celebrated with a nature hike/walk,

a delicious dinner,

and an even more delicious dessert. Joe even made dairy free whipped cream for me!

The beginning of June was consumed with wrapping up the school year with distance learning

and prepping the house for two babies (we turned our loft area into a baby changing and rocking area which has worked out really well)!

On June 11, we went to the hospital to have our sweet baby boy

and are all so in love.

The big kids have been having lots of fun playing outside

and daddy even took them to the beach.

We've started to let the kids go to the store with Joe since everyone was going a little stir crazy

and have been so thankful for the friends and family that have delivered food and gift cards.

June was a good month.

A month that made our lives a little busier and a whole lot sweeter.

4th of July

With two babies, 90 degree weather, and COVID our 4th of July was pretty low-key this year but we did go in on a big box of fireworks from Costco with our neighbors. It was a fun night watching our own little fireworks show in the comfort of our own driveway (and both babies slept through it so I got to enjoy the festivities as well!!)

I forgot to get a picture of all 4 kids together but took this adorable picture of Levi as he was smiling at his brother.
