Maxwell turned 3 months on Wednesday. 

I love him so much.  I really can't contain it.  I'm pretty much convinced that he'll never do anything wrong, never make me mad, he's just perfect.

Okay, I'm not that naive but I am thoroughly enjoying have a little boy.

Max is growing so fast, he's already wearing 6 month clothing and will probably go to size 3 diapers as soon as I run out of size 2.

He is so social and loves having conversations.  His cooing is my favorite.

So are his smiles, and his chubby cheeks, and the way he lights up when I get him in the morning.

Max did decide to stop sleeping through the night last week, which is a bummer, but I kind of knew it was coming.  Joe and I love his little voice when he wakes up, it sounds like he's calling for me rather than crying.

Maxwell loves bath time, watching his sisters play, and listening to people talk to him.

He doesn't really like riding in the stroller, being left alone, or when his sisters scream (but who would like that?!)

How did I get so lucky to have the most perfect little boy for my son?

We are all moved in our new house.  We now live in a the most adorable neighborhood in Seattle called, Magnolia.  Our neighborhood is about 4 miles from downtown/Joe's work.  The map below shows the different neighborhoods in the city.

We still have a lot of work to do but the important things/rooms are unpacked and organized.  Unpacking is a bit overwhelming with a new baby and messy preschoolers.  

I love our new house.  It's a lot smaller than our old house but feels perfect for our family.  I'll post pictures as soon as pictures are hung on the walls and everything feels a little more complete.

The movers set up all our furniture and unpacked some of our boxes.

This is what our basement playroom looked like after the toy boxes were unpacked.  I almost hyperventilated when I saw the mound of toys! Luckily, we were still in our apartment so I snuck over after bedtime and organized all the toys so the kids could have a clean area to play.

Joe's mom came to help out during the move, which was a lifesaver! She was able to watch the girls at the apartment on moving day and help me unpack things.  Since Joe only had one day off, it would have been extremely difficult for me to make as much progress on my own!

Life has been busy since we've moved in.  Even though I wish I could spend a couple days doing non-stop organizing and unpacking, it's just not my reality. So, life hasn't stopped and I've been trying my best to enjoy the kids even though the house isn't perfect.

Naomi and Maxwell have been enjoying lots of cuddling.

Mia's been dancing in the rain.

Mia also started preschool!!  She is going to a nature based preschool where she gets to go on a one hour hike everyday rain or shine.  Instead of snow boots and snow pants, the required clothing is rain jacket, rain pants, and rain boots!  She is loving the program and has already made a new friend.

Maxwell gets cuter and cuter everyday (if that's even possible).  We all love his chubby cheeks and big smiles.

Joe and I even got a date night when Kathy was here.  It was so nice to enjoy some amazing seafood right on the water without kids.

Max even got to try out the rain cover for the stroller since life doesn't stop when it rains in Seattle.  

Naomi thinks puddles are the best thing ever and must step in every puddle she sees.

This little cutie also got her cast off last week.  She was so brave; I think I was more nervous than she was.

Having a stranger using a saw that close to my child's arm was probably the scariest thing ever.  Luckily, the bone is healed and Naomi is now cast free and using her arm like normal.

Although I miss the suburbs of Denver, Seattle has given us a warm welcome and I'm excited for our future here!
