Tucson

Joe and I got to go on an all expense paid trip to Tucson because my husband is amazing! Every year Qwest has the Circle of Excellence which is a 4 day getaway to award the employees with best earnings. All of the employees invited make up the top 3% of Qwest. It was an amazing trip full of formal dinners, daily prizes and great entertainment.

All dressed up for dinner.

For entertainment the last night, we got to hear the comedian, Kevin Nealon. He was super funny! It was so much to laugh until our stomachs hurt.

Getting my dance on at the Qwest nightclub!
Spongebob was randomly in the hotel lobby.
Joe and I went on a beautiful walk through the hilly desert.

I had to put these two pictures because you can totally see my baby bump! The tummy is definitely growing.I love this picture Joe took of the cactus in bloom.

Pink or Blue?

On the side of my blog, I put a poll. Take a second to vote if you think we are having a boy or girl! We are planning on finding out at 20 weeks in June but this is fun for the meantime. As of now, I don't have any feelings or intuition. I've had two different dreams and in each dream the baby was a different sex.

Happy Birthday Joe!

Joe's birthday was on April 1st. Luckily I was on spring break so I had the energy to make a nice dinner and a birthday cake. Joe requested a home cooked meal instead of going out since he has been traveling so much. This year, I made a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. It was very rich but oh so good! I thought I was clever by putting trick candles on the cake. Hee Hee.

Also, Joe really appreciated all of the cards, gifts and money that he got for his birthday. We have such a generous family. Thank you for making Joe's birthday special even at 27.

Spring Break

My friend, Nicki came to visit for Spring Break! It always means so much when friends and family spend the time, money and energy to come visit. Plus, it's great to get a few days of total quality time. We went to Fort Collins for the New Belgium Brewery Tour. It was a really good tour and Nicki got a lot of free beer! They were all about fun at the brewery and even had a slide in the building! In the picture above, we were in the room where the beer was boiling which is why my face is beat red! We ate at a Jamaican Pasta restaurant for dinner. Nicki was feeling adventurous and ordered cheese tortellini that had a white sauce with bananas and pineapple in it! It was actually really yummy.
