Western Caribbean Cruise: Part 3

Part 3 is all about days 5 and 6. On day 5 we woke up in Belize City, Belize. We decided not to do an excursion in Belize since we knew three busy days in a row would be a bit much for our crew and we didn't see any excursions that were worth the money for the ages of our kiddos. Since the ship wasn't able to park at the dock, we had to take a tender, which was a fun adventure in itself.

We just walked around and looked at the shops in Belize. It was super hot so we didn't stay out too long.

Naomi wanted one of everything! This girls is obsessed with small trinkets. : )

The water in Belize was breathtaking.

Once we got back to the ship, the kids swam while Maxwell napped. Then, we all showered and got ready for our 2nd formal night. I had the goal of getting a good family photo, which never seems to go as planned. Haha.

This guy is an absolute joy to travel with. I would go on another vacation with him in a heartbeat. He is the best.

My husband is pretty fun too! ; )

Yay! A family photo where everyone is looking!

Naomi got her special request, strawberries, at dinner.

Mia tried strawberry bisque soup and fell in love!

I thoroughly enjoyed my lobster and steak (not pictured) for dinner. Yes, I ordered two dinners to create the ultimate combo! Gotta love all inclusive.

Day 6 we woke up in Cozumel, Mexico. Since our excursion started super early (7:30am), we ordered room service for breakfast. It was so fun eating breakfast on the balcony watching the sunrise.

The girls in front of our ship, Liberty of the Seas.

For our excursion, we went to a resort that had Dolphins and other family friendly entertainment. The girls and Joe got to interact, kiss, and hold a dolphin. Unfortunately, Maxwell wasn't old enough so he and I watched from the dock.

They make most of their money off of photos so we weren't able to take our own pictures during the dolphin encounter. We didn't end up buying the pictures because we couldn't justify the steep price tag of over $100 for the pictures.

This was such a special experience for everyone since it was the kids' first time seeing dolphins!

After the dolphin encounter, we relaxed on the beach. The water was so clear so it was easy to see a lot of fun, exotic fish swimming around.

One benefit of having the early tour was that everything was pretty quiet when we were there. We were the first ones on the beach and it didn't get super busy until a little before we left.

We met a lot of fun creatures too! This little guy was scuttling across the sand, Maxwell really wanted to play with him.

We saw a couple of these giant iguanas, which was so neat.

The girls even saw a sea lion show and got to kiss the sea lion.

My little beach bums, these two played in the sand together for a long time.

Back to the cruise ship after another amazing day.

In case you missed the posts, here is part 1 and part 2.
